I have often heard of words that can make a difference in one’s life. Some speak of love, hope, trust and so forth. However, it can be immensely difficult to make the necessary changes when all you can think of is, “But I love him” or “I hope this works” or “But I trust him”. My favorite magic word with dealing with all circumstances is “Attitude”. A positive attitude is an unstoppable attitude!
My favorite magic word is “Attitude”.
At the end of the day, it is your attitude that will define your destiny. Are you going to continue in the same patterns that created the obstacles in your life in the first place? Whether you change your attitude or not makes no difference to whether you create your reality or not. If you believe you can or you believe you can’t, either way, you are correct. To overcome your circumstances needs focus and you need to define where you focus.
Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.
So first begin with a responsible attitude, by taking responsibility for your circumstances. You may believe that Joe is vindictive, Tracy may have back-stabbed you, Peter even slept with your best friend. Yadda, yadda, yadda, the list is never-ending. What is important is that you came to that assessment, it means you know who or what to release from your life.
Now that you have identified who and what is no longer serving you, realize that you are more than a victim and free yourself from their control. Untie the noose around your neck. Look closely as it is far looser than you think it is.
You are the co-creator of your life. The long and the short of it, is you need to take responsibility. You can begin by being grateful to all those who taught you the lessons needed for reaching this apex in your life. What you have learned is far deeper ingrained, serves more purpose and will define you far more than any expensive private schooling or higher education.
When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.
These lessons are yours to use as your life-skills. They are tools that can either keep you captive or free to soar higher than your wildest expectations. Remember, whichever you choose, so it will be. So take your time, truly go within yourself and soul-search for that which is no longer serving you.
Think of a smoker who firmly believes she needs her cigarettes because they calm her. Meanwhile, the minute her nicotine addiction kicks in, she wants to break the building down if she can’t have her “fix”. A non-smoker does not behave that way.
Begin each day with an attitude of gratitude. Grab your journal each morning and write three things that you are grateful for. Even if you need to dig really deep, keep digging until you find what it is that can put a smile in your attitude. “I am grateful for my health.” “I am grateful for my home.” “I am grateful that I am no longer who I was yesterday.”
Make a To-Do list, but instead of saying, “Today I must…”, rather shift your attitude to, “Today I get to….” Thereby, you are building on that attitude of gratitude. You begin to reprogram your thoughts irrespective of the task at hand. This may sound as if you are being fake at first, but if you truly think about it, today you get to change your attitude and that is real. Today you create something new – a new you! So use your words wisely because what you believe is what you will achieve. Aim high!
Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character.
Frequencies are incredible. There is so much to read about frequencies and how to adjust to a frequency. However, without going into a major discussion, allow me to just plant a seed. Each of us vibrates at a certain frequency, as does everything else in our surroundings. What we choose to tune in to will define our attitude. That then means that if we constantly harp on the negative low energy, we will invariably vibrate at a low depressed frequency and thereby have a negative attitude. If you choose to vibrate at a high frequency, you will attract the far more upbeat, uptempo, lively frequency and thereby have a positive lively attitude.
Ultimately, you have free will. You have the right to decide what controls you and what you choose to control. Certainly, you will have those “Heaven Luck“ days or “Major Arcana“ issues tossed at you that you may feel you will never recover from, but it is how you choose to overcome them, your attitude, that will define who you are.
Often we find ourselves feeling incapable of changing our attitude as we are just too close to the situation. Our perspective is what then amplifies the circumstances, leaving us blind to what opportunities are at hand. This is then when a reading is most helpful as it gives a new perspective and it is just so straightforward. Consider booking a reading if you are needing some clarity in your situation.
May all be blessed!
